PAX Tools for Youth Development is a collection of trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral strategies for adults who work with young people in out-of-school time settings. These strategies promote the development of self-regulation in young people, reduce conflict between young people and adults, and improve relationships. Upon completion of the course, participants will be equipped with ten trauma-informed PAX Tools strategies they can begin using the very next day!

PAX Tools for Youth Workers provides trauma-informed, evidence-based strategies for those working with youth in out-of-school time settings. Upon completion of the course, participants will be equipped with eight PAX Tools strategies they can use in their everyday work with youth.

PAX Tools Next Steps

The PAX Tools Next Steps training is a 4-hour, advanced session designed for individuals who have already completed the initial PAX Tools training. This interactive training deepens participants’ understanding of the PAX Tools strategies and enhances their ability to apply them with fidelity and confidence in a variety of settings.

Who: individuals who have previously attended a PAX Tools training, including:

  • Behavioral Health Professionals
  • Family Educators
  • Youth Workers
